Middle School Work Site Updates...From Wilmington

Mrs. Anderson's House
First we arrived at her house. We realized that the wheelchair ramp we built the day before might have been built a little too small. We started to cut out holes in the railings and we dug for more. So then a couple of people went into the backyard to clean up a little bit and we noticed a few kittens sitting on the table. Later we finally finished the ramp. It took a long time but it finally looked like a wheel chair ramp. We caught a kitten and decided to bring it back. That wasn't a good idea because they wouldn't allow us to take it home so we let it go. We had a great, hard working day. :)

Today we had to work on the kitchen some more like getting up the rest of the tiles. We also had to put down some planks to move the kitchen appliances as to not hurt the tile. In the back today we got to paint! We painted one side after scraping the old paint off. Then we painted the side we had been working on all week. It looked really good with all the white on it. Over all it was a good day. lol smileyface

today we gave gifts to our work site family, Mrs. Mary and Heaven. the look on their faces where priceless, a real growing moment. The best part was that we gave her a new set of pots, it turned out that she had just been looking in the catalog for some earlier, funny how god works things out. The rest of the day we finished her steps. Before leaving we all gathered to eat together and then had to head out, overall great day.
